Dan Arnold is an artist primarily concerned with the natural world, our place within it and the processes involved. He works with continuous line, film and objects.The installation was borne out of working in Spar in Bala, North Wales. He needed to do something creative whilst selling fags and scratch cards so built these machines to ‘draw’ during shifts.
